Dr. Kristof Schum is the Generative AI segment leader in EMEA at AWS. He is leading the consulting and technology partner strategy and implementation in the middle-layer (foundational models) of AWS GenAI Stack. After 5 years of management consulting experience and an MBA from Wharton, he joined Amazon as a product manager to lead Amazon Global Selling machine learning model building. He was teaching personalization, summarization and ML-for-businesscourses in Amazon’s Machine Learning University, while presenting on the aforementioned topics at AWS re:Invent, re:MARS and Nvidia GTC. In Seattle, he led the global Machine Learning partner team for 5 years and now, based out of Barcelona, focuses on the European Generative AI community.

    This hands-on workshop will guide you through the AWS Agentic AI Marketplace launched in July 2025. The workshop has two parts: first, participants will get to learn how to list their own agentic AI capabilities on AWS Marketplace. In the second part, we dive-deeper in a hands-on session format into the use of AI agents and tools available on the Marketplace. Participants will learn how to: - List their agentic AI related offerings - Avoid pitfalls and use best practices regarding marketplace - Navigate the marketplace interface to discover and evaluate AI agents for specific business needs - Compare different autonomous AI agents based on capabilities, pricing, and performance metrics - Deploy and configure agents for common enterprise use cases Prerequisites: - Basic AWS console familiarity - Understanding of fundamental AI/ML concepts - Active AWS account with appropriate permissions This is an intermediate-level workshop ideal for developers, solution architects, and technical decision-makers looking to leverage autonomous AI agents in their organizations, but also interested in how their work and own AI Agents can make it to the AWS Agentic AI Marketplace.
